LSPC MD Appointed Director of National Leisure

London Swimming Pool Company's Managing Director, Jamie Smith has been appointed Director of National Leisure.  With over 28 years’ experience in the industry, Jamie will bring a wealth of skills and knowledge to National Leisure, which is made up of professional pool companies and operates as a collective purchasing and business support network.  Jamie’s new role will involve assisting with policy-making, offering a guiding hand in the running of the organisation and ensuring that members are well looked after.

Sales and Service
Jamie said, "I would like to think that my experience within the industry will enable me to share my knowledge and experience with members and in that way make a difference to National Leisure.”

Jamie began his career in the swimming pool industry in 1988 working as a pool plant operator, whilst completing a mechanical engineering course.  He later moved to Surex International in senior sales role, before joining London Swimming Pool Company (LSPC) as a sales and service engineer in 1998. Working his way up through the company, Jamie was appointed Managing Director in 2014.

LSPC has been a member of National Leisure since 2008. “National Leisure is a great thing to be part of and I would whole-heartedly recommend other companies within the industry to take a look at the benefits available to members as I know from experience it would be a good thing for them,” comments Jamie.

Highly regarded within the UK pool trade, members of National Leisure take an active part in helping to promote the industry and maintaining its standards. Members can access a range of commercial and administrative benefits, as well as share expertise and knowledge amongst members, which can be particularly helpful for problem-solving or finding products that may no longer be widely available.
