HOW WE WORK
For over 30 years we have been collaborating with architects, interior designers, main contractors, pool equipment suppliers/manufacturers and end-user clients on the specification, design and build of luxury pools, many with spas, saunas and other wellness facilities integrated.
We are invited to bid for a diverse range of prestigious pool projects and consequently we have developed a deep understanding of what the end-client wants in terms of aesthetics, innovation, originality, service and, dear we say it, expenditure. We have gained a reputation for providing exacting engineering solutions and successfully completing a significant number of challenging projects, and have won more than 45 major design, construction and refurbishment awards.
The majority of our major pool projects are awarded by architects and main contractors who rely upon our expertise to interpret their clients' briefs and provide viable and imaginative solutions. When we receive an invitation to tender for a new pool, the project is assigned a design and project management team which remains constant from the bid stage right through to completion and commissioning of the pool. Likewise, if a client would like to revitalise an outdated pool with 21st century technology and design, a dedicated refurbishment team is assigned.
Working to SPATA Standards, the creative in-house design and project management team ensures that technically complex and logistically difficult projects are designed and built on time. Every pool we design and build is bespoke, from the simplest luxury pool to highly complex installations including infinity edge, linear deck slot, standard deck level overflow and letterbox surface flow systems.
Our teams can handle any level of complexity presented by a brief or a building’s architecture. We bring advanced technology to pool design and build including high efficiency and environmentally friendly heating systems, moving floor solutions, advanced hydrotherapy, stainless steel pools, water features and spectacular LED underwater lighting and sound systems.
We continually assess and review new technology, materials and energy conservation development to ensure that clients receive the best in pool and spa construction, filtration, water treatment, air handling, lighting and finishes.
SPATA (Swimming Pool and Allied Trades Association) is the trade association for the pool industry and sets standards governing the construction and operation of pools, spas, saunas and steam rooms. All members are vetted by SPATA to ensure they are working to the Association’s high standards. For quality craftsmanship and professionalism, SPATA recommends that you select a member company for the design and build of pools, spas and other wellness equipment.
At the concept stage, the LSPC design and project management team holds detailed discussions with the end-client, architect and project designer. Then the team produces initial concepts to take forward to a design principal. This produces a flow of ideas that allows the team to supply a preliminary performance specification.
When commissioned, we consult further with the client team and submit drawings for the construction. Our designers use modern 3D computer aided design software to produce intricate technical drawings/design proposals, with all equipment and building materials itemised and priced separately for transparency, and submits these for approval. Once the client has confirmed the core concept and budget for the pool and/or wellness facilities, we take overall responsibility for the project, from design to construction and even landscaping if required on outdoor projects. The on-site project management team ensures that the programme progresses smoothly, on time and in line with agreed budgets.
Once the pool is completed, every system is tested before certification and handover to the client. A demonstration is given and an operation manual and a full maintenance schedule supplied. Our Servicing division services and maintains many of the pools that we have built.
